To log into GrantSolutions through Login.gov, a Grantor user must associate a GrantSolutions email address with a Login.gov account. If the user does not have a Login.gov account, create one using the email address associated with the GrantSolutions account. Perform the following steps to create a Login.gov account:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. From a browser such as Google Chrome, navigate to www.login.gov<\/a> and click the Sign in with Login.gov<\/strong> button in the top right corner.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. The Login.gov \u201cSign in\u201d screen appears. Click the Create an account<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. On the Login.gov \u201cCreate an account\u201d screen, select the Rules of Use <\/strong>checkbox and click the Submit<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. The Login.gov \u201cCheck your email\u201d screen appears with a message that an email is sent to the user email inbox with a link to confirm the email address.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          1. The user receives an email from no-reply@login.gov<\/a> with the subject \u201cConfirm your email.\u201d In the email, click the Confirm email address<\/strong> button or copy and paste the link below it into a browser.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

The Login.gov interface opens and the Login.gov \u201cCreate a strong password\u201d screen appears with the message, \u201cYou have confirmed your email address.\u201d Enter a desired password <\/strong>in the Password <\/em>field, enter the same password <\/strong>in the Confirm password <\/em>field, and click the Continue <\/strong>button. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              1. The Login.gov \u201cEnhance your account security with a government employee ID\u201d screen appears. Click the Choose other methods instead link.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                1. The Login.gov \u201cAuthentication method setup\u201d screen appears. Using the radio buttons, select the desired authentication method <\/strong>for Login.gov and click the Continue button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

                  1. Depending on the authentication method chosen on the Login.gov \u201cAuthentication method setup\u201d screen, a specific authentication process screen appears. Follow instructions on each proceeding authentication screen to successfully complete authentication.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  2. The Login.gov account is successfully created and the Login.gov \u201cYour account\u201d screen appears with information specific to the user account. This screen includes the following key features:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n


                    \u2022 Welcome greeting, username, and Sign Out<\/em> link in the top right corner.

                    \u2022 Email preferences<\/em> section with Email addresses<\/em> listed, preferred Language<\/em>, and +Add email button<\/em>.

                    \u2022 Password<\/em> section with user password.

                    \u2022 Phone<\/em> numbers<\/em> section with phone numbers and +Add phone<\/em> button.
